Out of morbid curiosity, what's the ratio of people who actually open these boxes to people who play it safe and ignore them?

Ah makes sense. This must have been right when I started on UOSA. A friendly welcome to me! I created most of my chars, but didn't really play my thief regularly until at least a year thereafter.
