Housing prices and door locking

Post by Robbbb »

According to this post housing prices seemed to vary depending on the city and they were cheaper than now.

And when you locked the door it would give you a different message.

What did ya see for info on that page that puts it in our era?

The last modified dates on the house placing pics is July 16, 2002, but that means little.

The pics are dated with a time frame, that particular one says 'winter 1999' which is the end of our cutoff date. The fact that the website is very real and that that person was VERY into RPing it would be very unlikely that the time frame for their FIRST house they ever purchased in game is invalid.

It would be my guess that if those prices are correct they were changed with the next patch that changed the housing system where log cabins were added.
