Don't get me wrong, donating to a shard like this so that it can stay online is reward enough, but it never hurts to know if there's more

But to answer the OP's question bluntly, there is no "reward" to donation on this server.

The only way to achieve "stuff" via IRL cash is to work something out with another player who might hold said "stuff" that you would want, thus creating an outside agreement that both parties must honor. And while this is highly looked down upon by some, it only creates minor bursts of inflation for those who typically dabble in such practices. However, for those smart enough to spread something of this magnitude out over a large period of time, the rewards can be infinite.

But yeah, no gold or anything. Its better that way, otherwise the shard would suck ^_^. Though I would be in favor of forcing monthly donations for more then one account for the true T2A experience (max still 3 of course)

There could legal issues if somone started selling accounts. All other mmorgs use to have free server play that people can create and run but they shut it down hoping to increase population. The scary thing is it worked, it gave a place for people to try the game first then pay/play later, just thank EA dont do the same

It is possible to get around this though legal actions. All you would be charging for is network access not extra accounts.
