UO Second Age

The poor over-worked Mages of Britannia... I had been hearing tales of Mages being forced to work day and night without respite. I had to go and take a look for myself. Such atrocities couldn't be real!

Sadly, when I ventured forth to the town of Delucia, I found that a spell had been put upon the town. The townsfolk were unresponsive to all forms of communication. So beaten down were they by their tyrant overseers that they didn't even care to respond. They were lil better than zombies and robots. The poor Mages weren't even allowed to leave their own huts, as the doors were guarded by their evil overlords bending them to their will. I tried to rescue them, but they wouldn't come out. It seemed like there was an invisible "wall" in the doorways of the hut. After all my efforts, one of them looked up at me and just begged me to end it. My heart breaking, I did just that. Farewell my fellow mages, I hope you're in a better place.

The humanity...they seem to have imported more slave mages from distant lands to replace the ones they lost. Citizens of Britannia raise up against this evil!

One Lady Ivy was seen beating the mages inside these very huts, but there seems to be a citizen uprising starting!

The citizens responded in mass! The mages were saved from a life of torment and despair! Bless these heroic citizens of Britannia!



The Evil Overlord seems to be stuck in a trance. He keeps spouting off his hateful words even in death! What a black soul indeed!
