UO Second Age

At least in January 1999, magic rings spawned with properties other than Invisibility and Teleportation:

Did this change between then and our era?

I remeber this clearly, i was surpriced only seeing invis and teleport on rings here.

While I was
picking the lock, a poison elemental, blood elemental, daemon, or
elder gazer would spawn right next the chest at random intervals of
between 3 and 20 seconds.

Chest guardians insta spawn as a group on UOSA and then can only be spawned by moving things inside the chest (whereas the author of this post says it's a random time interval). Is this wrong? Never t-hunted on OSI.
