UO Second Age

Well, holiday season officialy starts tomorrow, and I have been handed down this great UOSA tradition.

As with previous years, sign up will be done in this page. Post below if you wish to participate. I still don't know if I'll be able to have GM help or not, but in either case and due to there being so many chars with the same names on the shard, when signing on please include your serial #. General framework:

• Signups:
  • [-] Post your char name, IRC nick (if you use IRC) and serial
    [-] Signups will be open for 3 weeks, and I will close them December 12th

• The Draw:
  • [-] All participants will be serially numbered starting from 1
    [-] I will use a randomizer to pair up all participants
    [-] On the 13th you will be PMed a number, corresponding to the person you will be giving your gift to this year

• The gift:
  • [-] As in previous years, this can be anything!! We encourage creativity. We'd like to keep the gifts at or around 20k value, but this is in no way a strict requirement. For ideas check out the threads from previous years linked below.
    [-] It's really awesome if you customize your gift for the person who is receiving, but you don't have to if you don't know anything about them.
    [-] Your gift MUST come in container form, bag, pouch, backpack, crate, etc. (If you want to trap your gift, which is not very nice, please let me know so I don't set it off. If I do set it off, and I will telekinesis every trappable crate or chest unless told otherwise, it will not be retrapped).
    [-] Your gift must contain a book with who the recipient is in the title. The author line ("by: ...") should read "Santa" or "Secret Santa". Let's try to keep this secret and recipients guessing who could have been their gifters. You are also more than encouraged to write something in the book for your recipient.

• The pickup and delivery:
  • [-] Gifts will be picked up from the 13th all the way up through the 23rd.
    [-] Please try to have your gift ready as soon as possible to make my (and my helpers) job easier.
    [-] Contact me when you're ready to deliver so we can pick it up.
    [-] Delivery of gifts will start the 24th and will be done when I find everybody.
