I do recall guildstones and forges on boats, but I don't know if this is a tainted memory from sphere or runUO.

Guild Stones and such on boats was pre t2a and was removed from the game early on because it was causing a variety of problems from boat devay to unlocking the forges and carrying them in your backpack.

if I remember correctly forges and anvils where never place able, it was only due to a bug ie: have house near water with boat in sight, place deed from inside house

anyone have proof otherwise? anywhere in the patch notes?
