Question on Brush in the Woods?

Post by weedsmoke »

When you are running through the woods, half of this shit is passable, and the other half will just completely block you.

Is there any plans to make all of it passable or all of it blockable?

If they are all blocks, it will be impossible to run through thick woods.

If they are all passable, that'd be cool. Theres a lot of stuff in the way as it is, being rocks or stumps or logs, and half of these brush things are already passable. I am not sure if this was like this back in your OSI days, I didnt play. So if I'm barking up the wrong tree inform me.

We don't plan to change it, it's annoying but stunningly accurate to the era.

Keep people from just running straight away from you. In pvp you need people to have to make turns, get stopped, to Catch, or get away from someone.

Not only does it stop you from going straight, but sometimes you'll stop try to walk right or left and you cant due to that stupid shrubbery.

It doesn't block right or left, just diagonals. Because you technically have to 'step' over that brush tile to get to another tile diagonally. So that's when it blocks. You have to do 90 degree turns to get around 'em
