What could I possibly sell to a smallish population that have everything already?!

I'm trying to determine what's going to get me some decent gold. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try this:

Run around Brit Bank, in deathrobes and with default white hair, spamming, "I R NEW, CASTLE PLZ!".

You might lose your first castle, however, to copyright-infringement ...

If you haven't achieved this in the 5 years that you have been playing....you probably won't.

On a more encouraging note, start a tamer or a provo'r and go out and hunt!

Seriously, Nordic Icemonkey just sold a castle for deed + patio.
You could farm that in a very reasonable amount of time, with an easy to make bard template.

You don't want a stank unsafe castle anyway.

I did used to own a decent property (Tower) but due to issues outside of my control I couldn't play the game for a long period and lost the bloody lot. I have a provo mage, and I'm grinding slowly, filling up the coffers. I'll just stick to that!

You could always AFK resource gather, I hear that is profitable! Just ask Pork...

I don't like farming either, you could map for IDOC's, but then you haft to sell the stuff, but that shouldn't be that much of a issue. With the server pop I can't imagine too many pk's rolling up in titan valley. Even back when I first started a provo mage and farmed there it was not often pk's rolled in.

Yeah, farming bores the hell out of me. Still - at present it's the only means I have of getting some decent gold.

Back to the grind stone for me!

Ways to farm gold

1. gather resources, like metal, wood, linen, wool and cloth (if you need to know how I'll tell you)
2. Use provoke (it can't possibly fail against ANY MOB (yes ANY MOB, even an ancient wyrm.......er well it does fail against energy vortexes.) if you have 100% musicianship and 100% provoke) you can macro and GM both skills with only ONE instrument. a good spot would be wrong with the ogre lords, ogres and trolls. Put all the ogres against the ogre lord, he'll eventually kill them all, but it'll weaken him, then just keep throwing more at him when they respawn, he'll eventually go down. For a quicker kill, get him behind all the tables, and cast an energy vortex right next to him. He carries about 600 gold, not a whole lot, but decent.
3. Looting fallen houses when they collapse. You'll have to scout them, by basically checking every one of them (places where houses are in big groups are good)
4. Killing Elder Gazers with Dragons in the Covetous Dungeon. This is one of the best ways I know to farn gold. Of course, you'll need to invest the time macroing a tamer, but it's definitely worth it. I've made millions sofar.
