Re: A few minor things:
I think it is best to ensure all bramles either block or do not block, otherwise getting around is unpredictable and extremely frustrating. At the moment I am not blocked by any brambles, which is nice. What you see is client-side. What clips is server-side. Rocks, trees, and logs clip, brambles ar...

Re: decoratin stuff
House decoration and customization didn't get really popular until long after T2A, for this reason and others. There's a house customizer flashlet on UO's site that reminds me of nothing so much as The Sims. I guess that's what UO has become these days.

Maybe you can mine some ore and stockpile a lot of ingots on your body and pack animal, and then walk through a spooky forest at night saying THIS IS WHERE I AM every few screens.

A good idea is to use your free 10 minutes for wanton murder and destruction.

ZOMG if you wore a straw hat instead of a wizard's hat you'd look just like Black Mage / Vivi.

Re: Unattended Macroing
Apparently you haven't been looking very hard. Google for "razor macros" and see them all.Chriswithatemper wrote:There is a HUGE difference between macroing and scripting.. Notice how theres not any sites that offer Macros for you to download? Yea.

It's my house, and I assure you that I am not, and never will scam anyone. The owner of that vendor is the player ReDRuM . Interesting. I was there, looking through that vendor, and someone with that name killed me as I was shopping. I didn't think anything of it, but hearing that it's his vendor m...

Re: Razor PvP vs Second Age PvP
So you are saying that it isn't feasible to ban razor? I'm saying it isn't possible. To the server, there's no difference between Razor controlling your client and you controlling your client. Razor works entirely through the client. GMs can police a "no macro assist" policy through heuri...

Re: How to make people stay longer and actually play (long)
Well considering this shard has been up since close to the start of the year.. and many new members are posting hail messages in the forums.. I think secondage has found a good formula and might wanna stick with it. That doesn't really mean anything unless you can also quantify how long they stay, ...

Re: Patch 59 - Sept 9, 2008
The drop rate has nothing to do with replicating the actual numbers, it has to do with replicating the drop percentage that was seen on OSI (with vanquishing at about 1% of the drops in circumstances where one could be found at all). Whether your server has 20 or 2 million people, a 2% drop rate fo...

Re: Razor PvP vs Second Age PvP
I would suggest, for accuracy's sake if nothing else, that Razor be limited or removed from the server. This is not technically possible, even disregarding that Razor is explicitly required to connect to the server in the first place. It's undetectable even in principle, since it acts exclusively t...

Re: What kind of Char would u call this / how would you play it?
This is my exact build. I don't mind the lack of wrestling because this builds primary means of survival is RUNNING AWAY. If you're in a group, the eval int gives you more punch. When confronted by a pk, you just run run run hide. Then recall out. You're... kidding, right? The Brave Sir Robin defen...

Re: Considering playing here
Why would there be such hatred towards the PlayUO client if it was truly a "legitimate client".. That's a circular/shitty argument. "People wouldn't hate on it unless there was something to hate" AKA "the unwashed masses must be right." Please. I've never used the clie...

Re: Patch 59 - Sept 9, 2008
Given that the server has far fewer people on it compared to a typical OSI server would have, even at the canonical drop rate they will be more common, since the ratio of people who don't get one will be lower. On both servers (old and new) you might have X Dire Whips of Mild Itching dropping per we...
