If you are being disconnected from IRC and UO it is definitely something with your computer/ISP. The first thing you should check is that your network card is not being turned off when the computer goes to sleep mode. Thanks for the feedback. I have a house and am now using that. Not sure why I didn't think of this before. Seems to be going up fine now.
