That is a client issue, or a video lag issue. I have never in all my time of UO had this problem and I don't think it has anything to do with server lag.

The Order/Chaos Townie with out of town abilities... Magery Med Resist Anat Healing Swords Tact Parry Magery/Med at 50. I just use mini heals.. lowered my str and dex to 95 for added mana. Soloing out in the field is tough but you can still succeed if you got a fast weapon and can deal with casters ...

I suppose it is possible that he had 2 thieves with the same name and after stealing just hid... but doesn't he have to wait 10 seconds before he can use another skill after stealing the item? I attacked as soon as I knew the item was stolen but not right away because of the messed up first attempt....

The guy I attacked was beside me the whole time, from the moment he stole the item(s) until I attacked he never left my sight. Twice now i've had people steal from me in town and when I go to attack (they should be perma grey) I get guard whacked. Anyone else have this problem?

no, that was recalling while in the heat of battle. what he says is correct, but that is only going on memory.

Once an Item was ID'd I seem to recall it not mattering who it was that ID'd, all that mattered was that someone did so that everyone could see what that weapon was. Pretty sure this is how it was on osit2a as well.. doubt you can really test this for accuracy but be nice to figure it out.
