I'd listen to it. My advice is don't make it to long. Focus on content for new players as well as UO vets.
That should keep the ball rolling. Once per week or once per 2 weeks is more then enough imo!

The server is located in the US afaik. I'm a euro too and the connection is great. The exact location I do not know

I started this week and I played a few free shards + OSI back in the day. I have to say that this server is fun to roll on.
