Not sure if this is an accuracy issue or not, but many of the taming guides I see (including Stratics) list the large hell cat minimum taming skill at 89.1. http://uo.stratics.com/database/view.php?db_content=hunters&id=204 At that skill level I got "no chance to tame". I checked again...
