Re: Guards and Cutting up death robe's
Deathrobes didn't give anything ... and they decayed in a matter of seconds if you put the robe on the ground even in a house. Why didn't they give anything? ... people would farm deaths at a shrine and macro cutting robes for bandages ... its free money.

Re: Daily Event Suggestion: British Army Bulk Orders
I think ezp's even idea is really good, but crafters should get a bigger role. Simply gathering resources while other people duke it out seems a bit boring imo. That's what their choice is in the game. They choose to craft and get resources to sell what they make to those that will use it fighting....

Re: Just read this ... It'll make sense
Macroing becoming illegal would be interesting. It is one of those things that you could say is to late to change though. Which falls into the same category as the thread talking about how many clients should be allowed at one time per IP. I am not against this. The IRC suggestion is something that ...

What things make UO more enjoyable today in your opinion that we didn't have then, minus perhaps faster connections?DrFaustus wrote:There are things in place now that make UO more enjoyable IMO. AKA Razor, which also have adverse effects on how many people you see manually working their skills in the world.

Re: Just read this ... It'll make sense
There have been 3 public ventrilos that I can think of, which didn't house that many players. Someone else choosing to create a public IRC is their call, and it would be up to the players. The staff can easily monitor general chat [not having it at all], and make the help and support room to where p...

Re: Just read this ... It'll make sense
IRC removes a LOT of potential game interaction. Can't agree more. Instead of logging into the game to go and search for action to see if there is any, player log into IRC and ask if anything is going on, say !status to check the population, say !events to check what free use pvp event they can do,...

Re: Just read this ... It'll make sense
The purpose of this post was not to spark arguements, but to promote critical thinking as to what we as the population of the shard can do to increase the size for 1, and number 2, create a more active population visually. I do realize people prefer to play alone sometimes and perhaps always, but ou...

Just read this ... It'll make sense
Something that I have come to realize by playing the server, talking in IRC, or even just reading the forums... I include myself in this as well ... I see people talking about how we have tons of clients/uniques online, with no active community etc. Then I go and look at servers such as Hybrid and t...

Re: Lvl 5 Treasure map monster spawn
The following is an indication of the types of creatures you should expect to spawn when you open the chest, and when remove items from it*: * Level One: Mongbats, Orcs, Ratmen, Headless, Skeletons, Zombies (0-6 total) * Level Two: Orc Mages, Orc Lords, Gargoyles, Gazers, Hellhounds, Earth Elemental...

Re: Daily Event Suggestion: British Army Bulk Orders
I think what needs to happen is that the events that are scheduled need to be more "natural". Currently, a gate opens, takes you to never-never-land and you beat the shit out of each other and some people get frustrated over and over again, then they come back to reality and take it out on...

Re: CTF Flag ID Changing
i would like to see this happen. something that would open the field up to more. there is no reason why a specific razor macro should be able to give some players an advantage. i personally find it exclusive The underlined word is the misconception ... 1. anyone can make the macro 2. it is not elab...

Re: CTF Flag ID Changing
Its not "auto-grabbing" ... it is a macro that has to be pressed to use item type. If you really believe that Spanky and I are the only "big users" that do this, mechanic that everyone else has access to use, you are truly mistaken. I've seen you grab flags as quick as I can, and...

Re: Era accuracy discussion: Account Limits
Its not really about having more than 1 account, its about being able to use more than 1 account at a time, but the problem with this has always been 2 or more people living in the same house hold.
