Re: How to Use Chat (or Conferences) In Game

Is this era accurate?

Sorry, had to be said.. I'm all for Roser's suggestion. Only, such a major change might not be feasible.

Re: My house was moved...?

Don't we have a rule here that the actual OWNER char has to open the door within 6 months or it goes poof? I lost 6 smalls in Mag because my refresher char was not the owner..... This sounds absurd, and I've never heard of it before. But, that doesn't mean it's not true... Prototype: I probably hav...

Here are the results of this weeks auction:

The total volume was 1183.9k.

We had some nice real estate for sale this time. Everyone seemed to agree that 1x deed for the brick was a good deal. :)

Re: Introducing: King's Crossing Auction House!

I hope this time the starting bids will at least be reasonable. Some have been downright rude.

Re: I want to sell gold in exchange for donations to UOSA

Let's call it like it is. When someone pays money, in exchange for something in return, it becomes a sale, rather than a donation.

Re: What player run events do you want ?!!!

Most of these have been done a few times already. But they're good too.

I myself would like a backgammon tournament at one of the player-run taverns, with vendors selling cheese and wine.

Re: Introducing: King's Crossing Auction House!

Here are the results of the auction: http://i.imgur.com/tms8hKq.png The total volume was 976.3k, and 1426.3k, including the sandals sold on account of the auction. Some of my takeaways: The lower-priced items did well, perhaps due to generally animated bidding? My little lot #12 sold for much higher...

Re: Introducing: King's Crossing Auction House!

The auction will be starting soon. Please disregard the crier's 2:30:00 cry.

This should be a good way to publicly establish pricing on some goods.

Re: Bulk GM Smith lots with Deadly Poison

You're in luck! I recently lowered my halberd prices to 169gp per, off from an original price of 195gp; that's a savings of 26gps. Katanas I sell for 89gps. Take a 10% discount for your bulk order. I'm fairly sure I can supply the Deadly Poisoned variants, at a similar margin, but let me confirm. Yo...

Re: Guide : Blacksmithy Guide

I have been smithing for awhile at 48.9,with no gaines, whats up? That's just how it is, fortunately. It gets much worse at the 99s. Just make sure you switch your smithing at the correct skill levels. Also smelt everything you make... I don't know whether keeping yourself full helps, but it certain...

Re: 7K Lockpicks 49K

I'm under the impression that they go for 5-6 gps each. Even then, they're a hard sell. Please see this thread as an example: http://forums.uosecondage.com/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=64160 This must be, at least partly, because Lockpicking is half as popular as Tinkering: http://my.uosecondage.com/Sta...

Re: GM Weapons vs Power Weapons (Halberd)

It's hard to say. Given we're talking about statistics, probably nearly impossible. However, I can say that comparing the minimum (or maximum) damages of these weapons is the wrong way to approach the problem. The damage of a Halberd is 2d23+3 (2d23+7 for GM), as per the wiki. Take a look at the GM ...

Re: UO Midi "revamp"

Thanks for this, these are great! Good form and everything. I too agree that the original MIDIs and newer versions are just perfect. But your variations help bring out, and let us hear better, all of the melodies in the originals. Your Moonglow version takes a while to end, in my opinion, but that's...
