No hicha, what he has proved is that there is a standing policy of not altering the reward items that are found to be inaccurate, but instead introducing era accurate versions of those items. Matron - re-read the past few page of this thread. The lion's share of your posts have been borderline-laughable strawman arguments with Blackfoot. To accuse someone else of constructing strawman arguments in the context of this thread is troubling.

He has known about it for 18 months+, if not since the complete beginning.

It is not BS, and if I am mistaken, I would expect Derrick to have corrected me. He is well aware of this thread.

This isn't an item Derrick created from scratch; it was a preexisting item he made available via CUB and trophy turn-ins that had an incorrect RunUO property by default. This was never claimed, nor is it relevant to my argument. Pre-existing or not, Derrick knew that CBD's behaved differently on OS...

Those would be very apt names for those items if they could only be obtained directly from GM's who knowingly dispensed those items with era inaccurate properties. It has not been the policy of UOSA staff to change the items given from the reward system out, even if there is a known era inaccuracy. ...

Moreover, unlike those items which REMAIN on the shard, these items were deliberately introduced by the staff with full-knowledge that they were not era accurate, and "sold" to players with that same understanding. For a shard that extols accuracy, it was perhaps a short-sighted or misguid...

I don't recall Derrick ever compensating anyone for any previous patch which affected, modified or took away anything from a player in a negative or game-changing manner, so why should this be any different? It has been known and discussed openly in IRC and in game since I began playing here in January of '09.

Derrick has known about this for 18 months+, and probably from inception. The trophy reward system was implemented with full-knowledge of this.
