Re: SHOULD EVENTS BE REMOVED OR LIMITED
I had played UO on osi from around 1998 to around 2002 and just could not stomach the changes that had been made and were being made anymore, therefore I quit. The whole time I was waiting for a new shard that had the old school ways or some player run shard that could try to mimick it. After almost...

Click self while hidden.
As I remember you were able to click yourself and display your name while hidden. I recall this because I used to flag grey from looting a corpse in a big group of people and then run off and hide and I would keep clicking myself to see when I was not grey anymore. I could be mistaken for UO:R, but ...

New vendor shop open!
Hi I have just opened Bobby's World which is a vendor shop that stocks prepared PVP packs (comes with 50ea reg, 5 ea potion, 4 pouches), DP weapons, bomber packs (10 greater expl potions), and odds and ends like T maps and possibly other random goodies. The shop is located directly West from the Occ...

Re: What's your favorite town!
Nujelum and Occlo for me. Both are not high in traffic, but it doesn't feel totally secluded either.

Re: Archer/Mage template help
Very unconventional, but playable. The only suggestion I would make is that you use meditation instead of hiding because you have so many points distributed to int, so your bow shot will be slow. Magery will be relied on, and without meditation you probably wont have the mana when you need it.

Re: Guild consolidation
Since when was vent a requirement to have a decent sized active pvp guild? I remember ICQ being a main source of communication and it seemed to work just fine even against people that used Roger Wilco.

Re: Guild consolidation
I understand that there have been big fights in the past, but I am speakng more about the day to day fights. I may be missing something, but I do not see large groups fighting on a regular basis.

Guild consolidation
Many people have been talking in the IRC channel and in game about the lack of guild fights. What I think they mean is that there are usually only people in the field either soloing or in groups of 2 or 3. While this can be fun at times, it is also nice to have the option of fighting in large group ...

Re: Curing Poison? Era Accurate?
I know that without evidence, there is no credibility on any game mechanic topics but the wiki states that GC potions cure DP everytime. I do not remember this being the case. Sometimes it would cure first time, but now always. Please don't tell me to bring info, I don't have any but I am trying to ...

Re: Curing Poison? Era Accurate?
You guys are a piece of work, it is not as easy as casting a second cirlcle spell to cure deadly poison, which costs over 200k to GM. It takes multiple GC potions to cure it sometimes or you have to cast arch cure or many cure casts. Doesn't that make sense? Isn't UOSA all about making sense? Isn't ...

Re: Curing Poison? Era Accurate?
it feels era accurate to me. if you could just cure it no problem then dp would be almost pointess.
