I know we strive for era accuracy, but in any era outside of this game a chessboard goes white on right facing the two players. Bugs the livin' crap outta' me to play as-is, and pretty much makes playing chess in UO not even worth the time. So... era accurate board that no one ever plays? Or non-era...

This event is no longer being hosted. Due to lack of interest and the patch change, which ceased the viewing of items on a ship's deck, there seemed little reason to continue with it.
