Its unlikely that there was any difference with respect to armor breaking with respect to lumberjacking (damage done to armor was a function of how much damage it absorbed, and that did not change when lumberjacking went in). As for the crushing blow mechanic, it was added in with the introduction ...

Many people have been talking in the IRC channel and in game about the lack of guild fights. What I think they mean is that there are usually only people in the field either soloing or in groups of 2 or 3. While this can be fun at times, it is also nice to have the option of fighting in large group...

I'm sure their will be a post about the great heist or theft or scam that is accomplished from this event. Players beware it is being ran by a thiefs guild. Check out the top skills of their guild members might make you think twice about trusting classless players such as these. I highly doubt that...
