Re: Mage Bard [and where to PVM]
Cyclops Valley in the lost lands. It's can only be reached by boat unless you have a rune. If you can't teleport in from the south side, the map isn't "era accurate." It's a royal pain to get there but you should be able to teleport in. Although, I do know of a spot in the desert that isn...

Re: Mage Bard [and where to PVM]
Try the Lost Lands. http://uo.stratics.com/content/t2a/t2aplaces.shtml With magery in the 50's, I'd say try City of the Dead north of Delucia. Usually plenty of spawn there. Selling the plate armor that drops off of the Bone Knights will boost your take. Also, the Ophidian spawn west of Papua would ...

Re: Stealth Gains
No, you don't need to walk around stealthed to gain stealth. You do need to have a chance to fail to gain which is why you need to wear increasing amounts of armor as you go up. (It's also why you can't train hiding in your house but that's another story.) The wiki has good info on training stealth...

Re: Fishing, Serpents, and ways to kill them
I went the magery route and it seems to work fine with GM Eval and Maqery and Med in the mid 80s. Make sure you get your Int up though. If you go the archery route, you'll need healing.

Re: what would be better for pvm?
From what I hear, peacemaking isn't very good here. You're probably better off taking archery over parry.

Re: PvP Dexxer Temp
Hrm wait so a sword dexxer isn't as viable here? Sorry always used a katana for a dexxer on other shards/OSI, but is a kryss better? They slowed the kat down to 48. If that's fast enough to disrupt a mage, I'd say it's still viable. I succeeded in whiffing 8 times in a row with my kat the other day...

Make sure Dex is set down and Int is set up.
Check the Wiki. I don't think you even need to ping pong. Lock all your skills except Spirit Speak (set up) then just macro SS. If you ping pong however, use Item ID instead of Arms Lore.
