Yeah, I remember that. It wasn't an auction. Totally different set of circumstances. Nice try though.

Re: Selling Brick on Road - Great Location - Auction

I'm from planet Earth, and on planet Earth when a buyer wins an auction, the seller sells the auctioned property to the buyer. If the bid changes before the sale ends, the seller informs the buyer that there is a higher bid. Obviously, this auction went down on your time, by your specific rules that...

Re: Selling Brick on Road - Great Location - Auction

Smoke and mirrors aside. You posted the house for public (not guild) auction. Woodchuck won the bid, thus the property should have been sold to him. True colors. If Woodchuck was outbid by someone offline (pretty convenient for you), you ought to have informed him so he had the opportunity to place ...

Re: Selling Brick on Road - Great Location - Auction

Good business ethics can go a long way, too. I've seen this type of thing (scam) before - overvalued property goes to top bidder who wins (fair and square) on a minimum bid, and suddenly seller conveniently has a "friend" waiting in the wings to buy out from under a posted auction.

Re: Selling Brick on Road - Great Location - Auction

I thought that if a bidder wins a posted auction on this server, then it's a deal. Pretty shady, HardCore. Caveat emptor.

Re: WTS L Shape Near Deluica Passage

Hey mr mahony, Really sorry this deal didn't happen. Had like three UO irons in the fire, server went down, real life intervened...all sorts of randomness. The deal that we decided to go with didn't even go through! Not a fantastic UO night. I would like to extend a complementary set of 1000 ingots ...

Re: UO Nostalgia

Off and on for a couple weeks, I've been trying to think of a characters name whose stories I'd read back when I was playing on OSI. He's the guy that comes to mind to me when I think of a rogue. I managed to find it yesterday, guys name was Xavori. I've never been able to successfully play a thief...

Re: Are Skill/Stat Toggles/Locks T2A Accurate?

If you read any of the replies to you, you would know this was previously brought up. At that time the option you were proposing was already on the table. If you're going to continue arguing for this change, come up with a good reason instead of saying the exact same thing over and over. Disabling ...
