Re: Swing on the run
For those of you that rarely desync, do you pvp? Do you use teleport rings, or the telport skill while running? Do you do long chases or running from ganks? Just wondering, I don't really desync unless I'm doing those things. It seems worse on some days, which is very odd. Even if my ping is nice an...

Re: Beyond Your Imagination 1v1 Tournment Aug 18th 6:30 Cent
Great tourney but the sudden death could have been left out. Besides the rules said no SD, I was a bit confused.

Re: Event gate interferences.
In trammel a person may organize their bank in complete safety.
He can sit down at that table, have dinner and then go purchase some reagents from the mage vendor without fear! He has 0 worry and even his emotions are suppressed while in that phoney place.
It's Trammelicious indeed.

Re: Swing on the run
I think it's unrelated to the "changes" because on the first day I noticed there was HOTR(2-3 days before most people found out or noticed) I had absolutely no desync and my UO was running smoothly. Then like 2 days later... Now this desyncing is happening everytime I teleport or chase som...

Re: Swing on the run
The question is why does this server get such bad sync problems while other servers don't?iamreallysquall wrote:is this unintended change always why i am still going out of sync like mad appose to hardly ever previously?
My syncing was bad before this change.

Re: Swing on the run
I realize that SOTR is the best 'mistake' this shard has ever made, aside from allowing me to play here. Hopefully neither are ever corrected. Correcting "held hits" is not a big issue for pvpers, it's really for the better and it's era accurate to take it out and have it like it was. SOT...

Re: Swing on the run
great post unfortunately the staff do not care what-so-ever about anything you just wrote all they care about is accuracy which will moot every single one of your valid points sad but true I wouldn't call that sad. The reason I came to UOSA is because the Bloodrock came here. The reason I like UOSA...

Re: Swing on the run
Oh no, I most certainly believe that dex should influence your attack frequency. I just think that it has been VASTLY accelerated across the board here on UOSA to facilitate some sort of free-shard style of pvp that never existed. I was saying that dex shouldn't affect cycling, are you saying it sh...

Re: Swing on the run
More specifically, I am referring to the time delay between swings with varying degrees of stamina. When you were required to remain stationary in order to advance your swing, the duration was still to small. I agree it's totally inaccurate and really needs to be changed. Right now it's impossible ...

Re: Who said magery is weak in town?
The pics do not do the vid any justice at all. I nejoyed it alot more than watching that one guy solo the ancient wyrm. Pappa Smurf totally ruined it too. It would have been way cooler if he would have left the boxes. What a party pooper with nothing better to do :x Yea and they weren't even griefi...

Re: Swing on the run
What what is? Swing on the run is not the same as the halberd cycling that "must exist because it's the only way you could sync an explode-eb-hally combo". I have no doubt that something is incorrect with this mechanic. I wasn't referring to it being SOTR. I should have explained better. ...

Re: Swing on the run
I taught Erik(old Zsv) pvp from scratch. He won tournies and defeated some of the best on the fieldGo gather up some players and teach them the ways of the mage Halbu.

Re: Swing on the run
GM resist is very common on this shard so the only way to effectively deliver a lot of damage is using the halberd. So what you have experienced is adaptation and change. well-timed Spells+ 1 hally hit are far more effective than hally spam, the problem is people don't meditate because they go into...
