I am new to the shard, started Dec 19th. I had no trouble finding numerous small housing spots till I settled on one, and I recently placed a 2-story. I found two spots for a 14x14 house after maybe an hour of searching. If dead accounts are taking up space then I would vote that the houses go. But ...

Also, with making cloth, you end up with plenty fr making bandages which you can use to raise healing, and use the healer while you train fighting skills on an NPC.

On my bard I think I had 100 music/90 provo and about 70 Magery when I started killing stuff fr gold.

There are plenty of ways for a new player to make money, and most of them are listed in the guides on this forum. I started December 19th, walked a toon to Delucia, farmed wool, made cloth, made money. One sheep is worth about 60gp. It doesn't take long, but it is boring.

I like the macro abilities of razor, but it is new to me. I used UOassist back when I played OSI. I have no clue what "attack last" spam is.

I remember that I always carried Greater Cure pots on my tank mage because they were needed to cure the deadly poisons. Magery was not enough, and certainly store bought cure pots were not enough to do it.

I surely don't remember explosion potions being used regularly in pvp. I never played with razor before, but when I was playing UOAssist was widely used.
