Re: Second Age: An Entirely Different Game - A Dead Horse Kicked
I think the OP is missing one very important thing. The core of UO was never in the character development, but more in what you actually decided to do with yourself in the sandbox. Personally, I abhor macroing (almost as much as I detest grinding), but it's a reality that you have to come to terms w...

Re: Royal Kingdom of Beggariness
Thank you people of Moonglow, you have been most kind in answering to our supplication with vast amounts of gold and hooch! But I'm afraid that we celebrated your generosity a little too hard and we're broke again.

Re: Bloody Ethics: It's not a game, it's a world
Just look at all the games that cater to "nice" people aka every other MMO out there. Those games are so stifling and constrictive they just strangle your soul until it's dead dead dead and before you know it, you're spending 80 hours a week raiding for purples like some joyless zombie. Wh...

Re: Core Philosophy of T2A?
Ah great, thanks for clearing that up for me. Personally, I'm no T2A purist, but it's obvious that adhering to accuracy is doing something right. I'll miss disarm thieves and paralyzing with my spear, but that's a small price to pay for a community that really feels authentic.

I think my weekend UOmance has the potential of becoming a long term relationship, so I would like to have somethi...
