Re: Private L Shape

Yep. I'm not at home right now (won't be for a few hours) but we can meet up tonight if you want. I use manowar in IRC, too.

Re: Trade taking place

You never made any of those points until you were convinced that you were wrong. It took a lot of convincing, or "clutter" as you call it, to convince you that you were wrong. You caused the clutter. Right. I could only think of common sense solutions after I was "convinced that I wa...

Re: Favorite Housing Type

For me, it's the two story. It's plenty of space to store my loot and have work areas for crafting. Maybe someday I'll desire to own a tower, but not in the near future. I'm always curious to know why people prefer Large Bricks or Patios over L Shapes. You get more lockdowns and space with an L in j...

Favorite Housing Type

I'm curious to know what type of housing people like to "live" in the most. (and why)

Re: Trade taking place

Do you see my point about the thread being clutter? Even when I'm not actively buying or selling property, I like to check this forum to see if anything catches my eye. Shouldn't this be in it's own forum, or even just over private message? PMs can be accessed by admins, so that is easy to enforce a...

Re: Trade taking place

All he has to do is ask IRC Tabius to PM him from his forum account. (I know, rocket scientist at work here)

If a new precedent is set that has people announcing trades via the forum, then lets set up a subforum for that. Threads like these will do nothing but clutter up the classifieds.

#secondagetrade is the more appropriate venue for this, IMO.

Re: Motion to strike town add ons for Kingdom of Ascalon

Yeah this shard looks like utter crap with all the GM addons strewn about the map. You can't go ten screens without finding some gm "blessed" town. I never saw anything like it on OSI. I saw a FEW buildings, with GM placed decorations on/around the specific buildings. I never saw custom r...

Check this thread for instructions:

As I discovered, you MUST be on the most recent edition of Snow Leopard for it to work.

Re: The best way to play UO on a Mac?

Just curious - anyone playing using wine bottler or some kind of program that lets you use Windows programs on a Mac? I'm trying to decide if I want to go through the trouble of partitioning with Boot Camp. I'd really rather just run UO on the Mac side, if possible, but I'd sooner go through the bo...

Re: taking away something players enjoyed?

These are reasonable arguments by Psilo regarding other 'inaccuracies', so they shoudl be reasonable quality arguments here Removing events will be bad for this shard, plain and simple. Let the population grow a bit and then revisit it... but now is not the time. This is a good point, I don't think...
