Re: Please don't remove guild chat, here's why.
So we should force two inaccurate systems that carry a bundle of exploits with them onto everyone else? Come on now. No one is being forced to use anything, if you wish to communicate in-game there are many ACCURATE ways. Case closed, it's really that simple, whether you think the exploits are a pr...

Re: Please don't remove guild chat, here's why.
Guild and party chat never existed during T2A so they are going to be removed. The in-game chat system (accessible with the "Chat" button in your Papderdoll) is a viable alternative. I can't seem to find it on my client, which kind of sucks. Some other methods include ICQ, AIM, IRC, Vent,...

Re: Please don't remove guild chat, here's why.
There are too many posts in this thread to read all of them, so if this has been covered then forgive me. It seems to me the idea that a communication system is being "exploited" is asinine, simply because guild chat and party chat is cumbersome in it's current implementation. It only func...

Re: Accuracy in the face of stupidity.
When one attempts to go against the slippery slope argument, one must first realize that it's a straw-man argument. For every positive reason I could argue this change would bring, you can argue an infinite number of negatives as to why if this change were implemented it would result in horrible cha...

Re: Accuracy in the face of stupidity.
When cutting bandages one at a time was mentioned by me to be inaccurate over a year ago several people ranted with frustration asking what purpose would something like this have outside of the sake of being era accurate. One comment that I mentioned was a market for bandages to be sold. Those same...

Re: Accuracy in the face of stupidity.
It's interesting that you chose the wording accuracy against vanity. Mostly because it makes absolutely no sense. Vendor issue aside, it's hardly a vain act if bandages were to cut an entire pile at once. Nor is it somehow more of an accomplishment if I simply loop Razor with three accounts to haste...

Accuracy in the face of stupidity.
Has anyone else wondered why in the quest for accuracy that the shard utilizes broken and stupidly inconvenient systems that add nothing to the game except mild irritation? For instance, the vendor sell five limit. Yes, this is era accurate. But is it an intelligent and well thought out system or id...
