Re: The Rares Dictionary - Updated every week
I can't decide if it's sad or happy absolutely no one gives two shits about rares anymore. I'm thinking happy, but alternative opinions are welcomed for discussion. LOL when they posted this the guy who helped the admins put rares in the server was grabbing them with AFK bots. Nobody cares now but ...

Oh man, is Vega legitimately an adult IRL? It's like being stuck in highschool except it's an online vidya game many decades old

Boy is it easy to find out who owns all this housing, just say something about it and they all come out

Re: Was there no NPC that taught lumberjacking in T2A?
The list of training npcs in the second age guide says the carpenter guildmaster in britain is the only one, but it looks like he's disappeared

Re: Odd semi-rare lockpicks (picture)
They probably intended for bananas to be peeled and broken lockpicks to exist when you break a real one but scrapped it, pretty certain these are hard wired into the client and still stack like this on official servers

These spawn once a month beginning around the 25th to the 3rd into the next month like clockwork. You will see Jin Lee alts camping with the AFK scripts near the entrance to this house

It's probably been mentioned before in error but hanging armor pieces are 1 stone not 10, you do not need 100 stealing. Not sure if this is a recent change but hanging sleeves were 1 stone

Maybe someone killed the brit carpenter and a new one spawned without it. Doesn't make sense that one skill is just missing

Re: Fix LOS bug
I'm with dren and Mens rear. The population here and in the past seems to be mostly supernerd exploiters, which is 100% not the majority of players in era until far into UOR. If these people are deciding era accuracy they of course will all agree that exploits are era accurate and piss on anyone who...

Re: Publicizing the Server and helping players find us
Yeah I get the era accuracy stuff, but I don't think making slight changes to things like this would cause second age to be labelled "any old Ultima shard" By definition it is "any old Ultima shard". In the past it was called Atlantic, Great Lakes, Europa, etc... Era accuracy sh...

Re: Speed on Terathan Avengers and Balrons is all wrong
Every monster is smarter, faster and more responsive here. AI peppyness was absolute crap until UOR as game difficulty dropped and servers improved, faster monsters just stand out more to people. It's all just a guess anyway, patch notes are not comparable to developer notes which OSI never provided...

Re: bring em back
We are all probably wasting our breath but its been close to 3 years and we are at the worst population moment since like 08. Maybe, just maybe automated events aren't causing this? Don't people usually just say every time this comes up that automated events just lead to a segment of the playerbase...

Couldn't anyone get around these rules by just using a remote VM that your friends or anyone could log into or watch remotely?
