Re: PKs in Destard - Shallow Grave, Hendrix, and Hecklar

I have to say, Hendrix is a decent guy. Took pity on me when I looted a npc I intended to 'rescue', and healed all the damage he had done to me.

Re: Bulletin boards for player run events at banks.

Isn't that about what the clocks are about?

What about allowing recognized event managers (Like Rose, for the CTC event) to add their own messages to the Event board, but no one else?

Re: Squig Herder?

done and done. Alchemy+taming. Maybe tinkering.

Lots of explodopots, if that's not considered magery. If so, a Heavy crossbow is for me. Might be anyway, if I can fit it.

Re: Weapons

I have a few questions about wrestling and damage multipliers. 1. What is the weapon speed of a punch? 2. If I have 100 Fencing, Tactics, anatomy, and Strength do I do 216% max damage (100%*150% *120* *120%) or 190% damage (100+50+20+20)%? 3. Cycling time -- could I use wrestling or a spear to short...

Squig Herder?

I'm debating starting an urk, and would like to be a squig herder (meaning I tame strong mongbats and rename them to 'a Squig', or perhaps great toads), having a herd follow me everywhere I go. Would this be in the lines of the Bloodrock clan? Or should I abandon the concept? Would it be too annoyin...

Re: Question on newbied items

Training pets isn't worth it, in my opinion. You could train dragons to cast level 6 spells like Dispel and Energy bolt, to boost their offense and defense. But I don't think it's worth the time or bandages, because their AI is awful and a couple of griefers can easily take it away from you to kill...

Oh I certainly agree. It'd be more of a novelty build, useful in some situations. Never a stand up and fight type.

Just trying to figure out how to cover more bases with the 700 cap.

Provocation, Weapon Enchantments,, et al

1. Can provocation be used on a pet... say to attack its owner? 2. I know Vanquishing adds 9 damage. Is that per hit, or to DPS? 3.Proposed Jack of all trades build Intended to be support in team games or guild warfare, filling in as needed. Re: Britain Haven House - Guardzone housing for those new to

Ms. Jill, I would love to take you up on the offer if that is alright. My wife will be starting UO for the first time shortly, and I would like the experience to be as newb friendly as possible. If I might then save up and buy it at a later date, that would be even better.

Re: 8 pairs of blue Sandals

Well, I hate to say this, but sandals do still spawn in the world. If that's all the hype is about. I've gotten about 20 in the past day.

Re: 8 pairs of blue Sandals

What, if I may ask, makes these sandals special? Are they blessed? Is it the color? Or are all sandals now rare?
