Re: nub healing questions...

You haven't provided details regarding the rest of your intended template, so it is a little difficult to advise you. I can give you some pointers, though. 60 Healing will give you adequate healing success for adequate hit points healed, in a PvM environment; I doubt a Bard will require anything mo...

Re: nub healing questions...

1) I don't have any proof or figures to back this up, but yes, definitely there is a better chance to successfully heal if you GM it. 2) Tough question. Personally, that extra 8-20 hit points being healed is pretty big, especially knowing that your next bandie won't finish for at least 16 seconds l...

Re: nub healing questions...

My current character has GM anatomy. I figured that GM anatomy made sense since it boosts both healing and melee fighting. I just macro'd healing to 61.5. I planned to leave healing at 60 since that's the level required to cure poison and at that level I would heal an reasonable amount of HP w/ a su...

nub healing questions...

i looked in the t2a wiki and it seems that the difference between a gm healer/gm anatomy and a 60 healer/gm anatomy is only 8-20 pts of additional damage healed. at 60 healing i have an 80% chance to cure poison. the wiki doesn't say that the chance to cure poison goes up with higher healing and i'm...

real vs "unreal" skill level

which one is the one that actually matters? i.e. - you need 60 minimum skill to have 80% chance of curing poison. 60 real or 60 "unreal"?

Re: where is this sever located?

that does suck. every time i check i average about 100 but i haven't checked somewhere where a lot is going on. i guess my ping isn't too bad. i keep losing my connection though. i wonder why that is. i get booted several times a day while macroing.

Re: unattended macroing for stats

back when i used to play there was no skill up/down/lock option. i'd thought of that see-sawing idea but i haven't reached the 7x yet and i hadn't thought of buying skills up to the 700 real cap. i would buy my skills up to 7x but being a complete newb and having 0 gold i suppose my only option is t...

unattended macroing for stats

is it just me or does it take a very, very long time to macro stats on this server. i remember being able to get to 100 dex by macroing musicianship within one night. i've gm'd musicianship and my dex is still below 50. i've been macroing provo for well over 8 hours and provo and dex are still less ...

Re: new char help...

After some more reading I think maces are the common sense choice for a dexer. As a dexer your advantage is being faster and hitting more often. With a higher number of dice (ex. 5d5 vs 1d25) probability says you're going to have a higher average hit and more of your hits will be in the middle range...

Re: new char help...

now i'm more confused than ever. i just don't want to suck in a pk encounter in the field. back when i played, though, razor didn't exist. in those days i didn't have the option of a quick recall macro. maybe i'll just focus on pvm for now and figure out pvp as i go. It's actually quite simpl...

Re: new char help...

A post from 2 years ago will probably be much different now. I have never used a macer, but this is by Mikel123, who does have one: I love macing, and have done my best to use it effectively here, but it's just not that good. Here's the thing... most pvp battles are short. Either someone recalls, d...
