Re: Guild Colors

Ungrateful bastards.... I always liked the grey and black myself...tho it did look a bit gloomy (tho that was kindof the point  )....I've always been fond of grey and everyone at the time seemed dead set on having black as one of the guild colors (I think it's the newb attitude of thinking how...

Re: get rid of the light level filter on razor

The issue of third party features has been brought up time and time again....I had always hoped it would become a larger priority here as much of the era accurate limitations and mechanics put into place here are overridden by the inaccurate features of Razor....Creating a slew of exploits and probl...

Re: UO the way it was - fun - Is it here?

The above two posts pretty well summed this up, but I thought I'd chime in. This server has never compromised to appeal to specific playstyles, in this case, the pvp community. If you want to see more field action or group pvp then step up and get it going. When was the last time you saw a pvp guild...

Re: ULTIMA ONLINE - the good days are coming back...

Possibly...though seems pretty far fetched to believe the guy is merely an employee for both Facebook and Youtube who has a fair amount of knowledge of UO..... I just assumed it was either a new player who joined the forums just to get others in on his idea or an existing forum user using a differen...

Re: ULTIMA ONLINE - the good days are coming back...

This is a great idea and is something that could really take UOSA to the next level. This server could really take off if we were to attract and draw in new players, rather than trying to appeal to those who are simply looking for the next Pre-Renn server. The existing players circulating in the poo...

Re: Selling cooked fish steaks

Food serves no purpose in T2A other than a small stamina refill that comes with each consumption and for decorative and roleplaying purposes so fish steaks just won't sell. Raw steaks might sell as some tamed critters may enjoy a little bit of tuna. Outside of that, the best way to make money fishi...

Re: UO the way it was - fun - Is it here?

Wow this thread is ridiculous... To sum things up the OP states in his subject that the era was fun, then he proceeds to criticize different aspects of the era and suggests that a number of features be implemented including swinging on the run, an increased nox system, limited housing....all of whic...

Re: UO the way it was - fun - Is it here?

I can understand your and your friends frustration....not liking some aspects of the mechanics and then expecting things to improve with the recently released changes to combat, but I really disagree with your view of the shard, it's policies, and it's design. From what you say, some of your and you...

Re: @Dexers: What kind of armor sets do you buy and why?

Good discussion to start.... To define the suits, my memory of the era is that most labeled dexxer suits as "light archer" or "heavy archer" though I'm sure different smiths had other names for these. The light archer being a suit consisting of chainmail legs, and tunic, ring glo...

Re: Spawns: An Idea to Increase Activity

Didn't we just have a post asking for more gold sinks to stop inflation? Now we want more high paying monsters to inflate our currency? I'm confused. As yossarian suggested, the idea is only for the purpose of stimulating activity. Some very small changes done one at a time (though consistently) in...

Spawns: An Idea to Increase Activity

Before I start, I just want to say that I've always been a huge fan of this server (my all time favorite by far) and I think I understand as much as anyone the importance for sticking to era accuracy...the need to promote this alone rather than changes made for the sake of appeasing the playerbase. ...

Re: K^A Outpost at Yew gate

Just a tip for any other players seeking to buy full spellbooks....the itemid skill or an id wand (I believe) will reveal the number of spells located within the book (64 being full)....always good to check before buying.
