UO Second Age

I have one pack horse I need a slot for. Or can someone tell me how to keep it. I asked ingame on the help petition. I was told find a stable or when you log the pack horse will roam. I tamed a pet bear but it was gone when I returned to game. I left it at the Inn. Thank you for the help. Update- No...
