Re: Declining Murder Counts
Yeah, I just figured if someone is getting his e-peen jollies out of building up a high kills count by killing naked people over and over... I may as well return the favor and not actually give a count. Especially if his kills is in the hundreds *cough* r- *cough* and he's almost assuredly well in s...

Re: Dispel Gate
Pretty certain galad was mostly uor Hiding in a doorway to block people's exit when they run away with low health/stam from a Terathan Avenger is pretty ineffective in Trammel, wouldn't you say? I'm pretty sure he crossed eras, but if you can find dated episodes... I dunno. I just feel like I remem...

Re: drake/dragon breath damage and timing
It was around 20-25 for Drakes, 40-50 for Dragons. It was HP-based, and I believe Dragons had around 800-825 HP/STR and Drakes had around 400 HP and STR. So it seems like firebreath damage was about 5% of the critter's remaining HPs.

Re: Dispel Gate
Actually, your best shot at proving this is probably not patch notes but rather the adventures of Galad, which was sort of a screenshot comic of T2A tomfoolery. His comics were recorded during this time (no Trammel, but Terathan Keep and thus T2A were certainly in existence as that's where he caused...

Re: Declining Murder Counts
Hah, no, I was not. I always keep my newbie clothes, at least the robe, so I'm never naked. I just think it's lame for someone to build up counts by killing a guy working on his taming over and over. So, no more kill counts for him. Thanks guys.

Re: Define Scamming.
Whatever. Stop whining and go steal some little kid's lunch money then. The scamming rules here are probably pretty era-accurate (actually, maybe a little looser than OSI if you got an particularly overzealous counselor or GM). Having some safeguards in place helps keep newer players around, who ult...

Declining Murder Counts
I'm not sure why some murderers will kill an unarmed newbie character. Clearly there's no loot, so I can only assume it's to build up counts. If I decide not to give someone a count, does it still get recorded in their "kills" column?

OK thanks, I'll try setting a one-macro arm/disarm.

Arm/Disarm bug? (not fixed by Object Delay Queue checkbox)
Hi guys, I was hoping you could help me with a Razor macro issue I'm having. I've set up a parry dexer, so I want to make a macro to use a Recall scroll to recall away (at my magery level, casting it could still fizzle). Right now I have this: Exec: Arm/Disarm Left Hand Pause 1.00 sec Exec: Arm/Disa...

Re: Gaining the taming skill in the T2A era...
OK cool. I just joined a couple days ago, and I'm absorbing everything I can but there's so many posts so it's hard to know what the final decisions/implementations were. Anyways, what got me to this shard (and will likely keep me here) is the amount of passion everyone seems to have for researching...

Re: Gaining the taming skill in the T2A era...
I don't know if this should be a new post or if I should just add to this one, but I was curious about what Kaivan said at the bottom of this link: http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4483&start=15 It sounds like Pre-Jan-24-2000, multiple high-end pets could be controlled withou...

Re: Gaining the taming skill in the T2A era...
There indeed were multiple chances to gain during a tame. I am fairly sure you could gain multiple tenths during a single tame, and am absolutely positive you could gain multiple tenths of animal lore. In fact, starting with 50 taming and 0 lore, you'd often gain .9 Animal Lore on the first taming a...
