Re: Guide: How to PROPERLY QUOTE on the forums

Thank you for reading this! Good Luck! You can also delete some of the person's text so you can quote just the section that you want :) Probably not a good idea to change what the person actually said though... This should be obvious but if you're not sure that your quote is going to look right the...

Re: A cry to kill off Autohit, lets hear the people:

The shard started to decline when those enormous recast delays that was inaccurate were patched in here in the last month... That patch made pvp beyond horrible and hardly fun at all. There are a lot of pvper's out there that are simply waiting it out until they are fixed knowing that this will be ...

Re: Newbie Characters Starting Equipment List?

Speaking of newbied instruments, every char I've made I added 1 Musicianship just to get a newbied instrument (before the patch that makes instruments not break). But I've NEVER gotten' a lute. It's my favorite instrument, but after 10 chars I still haven't been able to get a lute, a bug perhaps? I...

Re: Tailoring macro keeps getting stuck on "wait for menu (any)"

In my tailor macros I have removed all the Wait for Target/Menu and replaced them with pauses, usually .5 - .75 seconds depending on how the macro seems to run. Also when targeting my hides/cloth I use absolute target and just make sure and restock (and start with!) a few more hides/cloth than I wil...

Re: Shearing macro with razor.

Are you talking about an unattended macro? I think that may count as unattended resource gathering. The macro in itself would be legal. It's the use of it that might be illegal (ie used unattended). And the same goes for every fully automated macro, they're legal, but their use might not be (ie use...

I remember it similar to that way but I can't back it up. I thought it was a random amount.

Do we want players not committed enough to develop a character?

Well intended idea but I disagree.

Re: Crack down on unattended resource gathering.

Roll eyes and criticism aside you can't possibly expect me to buy the argument that UO IS FOR PVM ONLY. BLACKSMITHS SUPPORT PVM. To clarify, I simply support increasing loot tables on lower level mobs while lowering them on the higher level mobs. I am not advocating letting people afk resource macr...

Re: My lag issue, need some help.

Since unchecking the CPU usage box, I seem to lag even worse. I now have had problems using my pots, it says I need to wait to perform that action. I am even more frustrated now, can anyone help me? I think this is more due to a recent patch. There is an option in Razor to change action queue delay...

Re: Stealing in plain sight?

Thieves cannot give murder counts even if they are not permagrey so no worries about yourself going red.

Also remember that the thief is only permagrey until they die so if you see them get guard-whacked or die any other way then make sure you know they have stolen again!

Re: Stealing in plain sight?

Yes, you can lose items to a skilled thief :D Hiding and Stealth just make it easier for them to get close to a mark without the mark running away. Don't let people stand next to you! You will probably not notice a GM snooper and as you can see by hilcha's post you can be stolen from and if successf...

Most likely. If they were cheaper earlier on OSI I'm not sure. I was probably the slightly above average casual player and by the time I even thought about getting a small house the deeds were over 100k.

Re: House hoarding and abuse of multiple accounts.

Two of my guildmates just placed a castle a few days ago. Sure the big areas are becoming limited but there's plenty of space left. I'm not entirely sure why housing is so inexpensive here. I recall a small house deed being over 100k on OSI but there was quite a bit less room and definitely more pla...

Re: Im having trouble with spell delay

I've noticed this change too and it seems like it isn't correct, though I could very well be wrong.

Faustus is correct though. If you wait a moment to target your exp then you will be able to cast your ebolt immediately.
