Re: Siege Perilous Ruleset?

Thanks for the comments. I actually have my own RunUO server which we used for testing house placement and the like when I was building our UOSA village. Unfortunately the rules are slightly different - more stringent here on UOSA - but it was still useful. I must confess that I have fiddled with it...

That's a shame. You have a provided a great service. Are you not getting donations? I would have thought you would make a mint out of this.

Re: Siege Perilous Ruleset?

That Siege Blessing crap came with AOS. That is precisely the time I quit playing, once everyone had a blessed artifact weapon. this is probably the worst patch ever. blessed weapons lol. wtf is the point of pvp if you have nothing to lose? Seems crazy on SP. Defeats the who object. My guild had le...

Re: Siege Perilous Ruleset?

How did you collect your own regs? Actually this is not strictly true. Some people may have been forced to try to collect reagents but probably only until they got their feet under the table, as it were. BiH always bought their regs from town. I know this because I was the person responsible for do...

Re: Furniture Dye Tubs

The order is reversed on those events. Siege Perilous was released in July 1999, and furniture dye tubs were made available in October 1999. Non the less, they were available at similar times, and are T2A accurate. Fair enough. I continued to play Atlantic sometimes to keep my houses going so it wa...

Re: Portable Forge

Were add on's always trashed if they were axed or the house was deeded? Originally they were trashed when axed which was incredibly annoying (like it is here!) and of course expensive when you placed something like a pentagram in the wrong place! I don't remember when they started getting re-deeded...

Re: New Inscription Vendor. Scrolls/Spellbooks/Runebooks che

I regret that due to overwhelming orders, I have had to increase the price of full spellbooks to 3000 GPs. I was able to sell them very cheaply initially due to having accumulated a huge stash of scrolls from dungeon runs but with selling the 12 per day which I was, they were soon gone. Now I have t...

Re: Furniture Dye Tubs

Actually, they were first available as part of the Clean up Britannia system on OSI servers (see the wiki patch notes for details), and the fact that we've made them available for Christmas this year is our way of correcting the lack of this mechanic at our cutoff date. Ahh thank you Kaivan and oth...

Portable Forge

Hi, I just found an old screenshot of the portable Forges and Anvil which I bought on eBay. I also had another one on my boat which the guy came and placed. He wouldn't tell me how it was done and my email history only seems to go back to 1999. Anyway, here it is. hopefully this adds some more weigh...

Reindeer poo

Hi,

I have some reindeer shit from a Rudolf I killed the other night. I would imagine that these are fairly rare.

I'm not a rares collector, so I would like it to go to a good home - preferably a public museum.

Please give me details of your museum and I will donate it.

No charge.

Thanks

Re: Mare Spawns,

So where do you donate your nightmares? :) FB LS collectively donated dozens of mares and frenz to Ashborn's tournament winners (among other events) in the past. How about you? I don't have a GM tamer on this server so it's not relevant to me and will likely not be. I just believe it is wrong for p...

Re: Mare Spawns,

I draw your attention to the selfless soul who has a public furniture dye tub. Anyone can just stroll in and use it and if they wish they can donate.

So where do you donate your nightmares? :)

Re: Mare Spawns,

I'm embarrassed to say that I've been back playing now for a year my tamers been gm for months now and I've actively looked for mares in the spots being claimed here and haven't seen 1. Not 1 single mare. I know they're out there because I see them being sold and rode by other tamers but finding wh...
