UO Second Age

Below is a copy from a posting by Derrick a Year ago! Try to go to each site once a month and VOTE. Being in the TOP TEN and even the TOP 15 Can really bring the shards numbers up a TON!
I vote often, and what I see is the First site, we have like 80 some people IN, then as you down the list we have like 20 or 30 people. If 80 people voted for ONE site, then we should have 80 people on all the sites!
Some sites have over 400 people voting, and we will surly be lower on the list. However other sites have a number one spot with 50 people voting, we can easily make number one with that.

If one would be interested in making banners for the shard, what specifications for image size should we aim at?

I think the size you have in your sig works. Perhaps pointing out that we have automated daily events, Are a T2A shard, 3 Accounts per person, and a dedicated staff is good to include. . . . Listing the specifications of what T2A is is too long, people SHOULD know most of it, and a waste to include in the banner. Perhaps also including that we openly accept, and honor player ran towns!

The standard sizes above (468x60) are most commonly used. I quickly put together this skyscraper ad (160x600) for one of our players to post on their site which I will plug here: http://www.oldschoolapps.com

I'd love some artwork to work with! I can't promise to have them done asap, but I'll work on them when I don't have any other photoshop stuffs to do. ;)

Take some Screenshots to edit and play with, otherwise there is a program that has taken apart the UO files to give us each and every GUMP possible, http://www.sunny-productions.eu/runuo_t ... y_programs - here is a program anyone can use to build there own "Menus" or just to use gumps and Photoshop to create your own.

Hey thanks for the info!!!! I saw the link when I first started but never saw it again so I never started voting but will now. I do have a question tho what does the in-out stuff mean when you look up the voted?

In is votes, out is the number of times the shard website has been clicked on from the votes site, i.e., the about of traffic the vote site is generating for us.

I made 2 banners, but one is more like for fun, I've always wanted to make a "neon sign" that's just turning on. The other one is quite big, but I like it!

I'm glad you all liked them! If I get in the mood and dun have other imaging to tend to I might make a skyscraper too, but no promises. ;)

I've been updating some of the banners and text on the voting sites this morning.
I think we could use a nice 600x90 banner too if anyone is up for that
