Hate to necropost for my first post here ever, but I've spent hours on this problem so far and none of the solutions contained in this thread worked for me. Me and two other friends just started yesterday, so we have whatever download is up there now. Here's the dealio:

Got the whole kit off the "direct from website" link (first link on the page)

Both Razor and UO do not save settings.

Win 7 x64
Admin privileges

Just to reiterate, I have tried all solutions in this thread:

No bad characters were in any config files.
Have "ownership" (which just means accessible as admin, correct?)
All files are not marked for archiving.
All hidden files are viewable.
Have done a clean reinstall.
(Insert other solution contained in this thread that I forgot to mention here)

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sorry for bein' a pain in the buttinski.

Fixed it. Files that I downloaded were apparently compressed and ready for archiving, and read-only. Changed this for ALL files in razor AND UO, then set the .exe file to be run with administrator privleges.
