Who's this guy?

Today while taming in Dagger Isle I bumped into this misterious guy:



First thing that caught my attention was that his name title was PURPLE and he was grey. Another thing was the beautiful Fire Steed he was riding, a tame that is not available in T2A.

He wielded a uber shepherds crook and the lantern had an item tag that said "a Light to Guide Young Players". I tried to start a conversation but he wouln't respond. After a while he just disappeared.

Has anyone seen something similar??

Braden is the name of one of the GMs, but that's not what his toon looks like, at least not last time I saw it.

Were you there when he went away? How did he go? Did he just vanish, or was there any animation when he left, like explosions or anything? I think the Braden the GM has a bunch of simultaneous flamestrikes as his "poofing-away" animation.

Wasn't there when he left. I tried to talk to him and after about 5 mins. of no reply I continued taming for maybe another 5, then came back to that spot and he was no longer there.

I'm guessing it was Braden just dressed in full plate

Title is the same (Evil Braden, Grandmaster Mage), he has the same crook/wand thing. Note that he's actually wearing full plate on MyUOSA, it just appears under his robe.

Ok, so he took off his robe to not be noticeable as a GM, but then jumped on a fire steed?

Fire Steed is what really caught my attention.

I had my GM robes on though. I am not sure why they didn't appear on your client. What client version are you using?

Hello Braden...Im using 2D client with version 5.0.8.3 and Patch 204.
That Fire Steed (Horse) really caught my attention, they were beautiful tames back in the day.
I remember my tamer had 2 of them and with Equine Pack Instinct they were a blast to use in PvM!!!

Its not really a fire steed. Those don't exist on this shard at all (even a GM cannot create it). Its just a horse set to the same color as a fire steed.
