what if i fuck up w/ having Herding at below 2 Real skill point?

It seems that my str is not moving now (

as a noobie, I am wondering why I need to max my skills out at 700 in order to raise my stats? thanks

You get max skill so that you are able to seesaw the skills you need for stat gain.

Say you are raising Str and Dex, using Herding (Str) and Snooping (Dex). You'd start out with both at zero (do not buy the skills you are going to use for seesaw) and then lock ALL of your skills except these two and and one other skill you can steal 10 points from; say Blacksmithy. So you'd set Blacksmithy arrow down and use Snooping until 10 points. Then you'd lock Blacksmithy and start the seesaw.

v Snooping until the 10 points transfer

then

^ Snooping
v Herding until 10 points transfer

And back and forth. Seems stat gains are excellent in those first 10 points.

Im not trying to blow up the OP's post, but in the [questions tab] you can find

Get an axe chop a tree make kindling of the logs and raise your stats using camping first....by just double clicking the kindling (macro it)
Fast and Easy to gain stats that way then resort to the methods originally posted

If your camping is at 0 and you need ANY stat, just buying and using kindling from the provos will shoot your chosen stat up 5 points
