Im fine with the saves. It gives me a second to be like, crap I've been playing too long. Then continue play.

you could always extend save times to 2 hours after a few weeks of the newest patch, once potential server crashing errors have been tested and worked out, reset the save times to 30 minutes a few days before a new patch and leave it for 2 weeks afterward, I cant imagine changing how often the serves saves takes to much work...
