IDing Shiz

Post by Mens Rea »

If a player is holding a weapon, and I use an ID wand on the weapon, then it comes back with the message "You cannot target there".

While there is no patch note on it "Iding equiped weapons" I say this is an inaccuracy...

Certainly this should work.
Looking into this now.

Moving this to Bug Reports.

When I do this as a player it works fine.

What is your client version?

Is this only in events?

I have tried this myself. Using an ID wand on an equipped item works in the regular world, but when trying to do it in a tourney area (i tried during a 1v1) it gives the error that the OP stated.

Aye, there are some targeting restrictions in events which do not apply elsewhere.
