Good business ethics can go a long way, too. I've seen this type of thing (scam) before - overvalued property goes to top bidder who wins (fair and square) on a minimum bid, and suddenly seller conveniently has a "friend" waiting in the wings to buy out from under a posted auction.

Sorry about the confusion. Of course if an old friend would rather buy the brick to keep the [PEE] area up and running vs. selling to 2 random newbies it made more sense. I tried to make it right by giving you a brick plot 2 screens east of it.

Sandro - the intent isn't to ban the area, just the north road (sold the tower/small) and was moving off the west road keeping the east side (minus Alaric hoarding the brick). We did finally get the "dock" area which is nice just need to get the small house that someone else who doesn't want to step up is just holding for no reason.

Ulor - as far as you are concerned, bidding wasn't specific to this post alone. Ingame talks/bids happened and the price of selling to a friend/guildmate was greater than a small deed. Good luck with the new house. Keep the doors locked. I'll be seeing you soon. :)

GK- previous post said it would run until Friday and I posted on Friday what the outcome was. Not quiet "suddenly over" as you stated.

Smoke and mirrors aside. You posted the house for public (not guild) auction. Woodchuck won the bid, thus the property should have been sold to him. True colors.

If Woodchuck was outbid by someone offline (pretty convenient for you), you ought to have informed him so he had the opportunity to place another bid.

This is how an auction works, n00b.

What shard are you from Ulor? Auction is for anyone, public or guild. I "informed" your boyfriend on the end date that the auction was closed. Not much more I could have done, since I made the decision today. Obviously if I knew his bid wasn't going to win earlier in the week I would have closed it then. Please stop crying, take your free brick plot I'm GIVING you newbies and move on.

It doesn't matter what else HE would have bid, he wouldn't have won. Anything else I can do to help you get restarted here just let me know.

I'm from planet Earth, and on planet Earth when a buyer wins an auction, the seller sells the auctioned property to the buyer. If the bid changes before the sale ends, the seller informs the buyer that there is a higher bid.

Obviously, this auction went down on your time, by your specific rules that have nothing to do with common business ethics that we humans practice on planet Earth. I had no idea you were an alien. Live long and prosper.

Yeah, I remember that. It wasn't an auction. Totally different set of circumstances. Nice try though.
