Total Noob!

Hello fellow citzens!

I used to play UO many years ago (during the Blackthorn expansion) and am very rusty and rather lost!! I have been playing wow and various other games since I left my UO account but have always greatly missed this game so was very excited to find this website and the client download....even more excited when i realised people were still playing!

I was hoping for some quick pointers on the following subjects:

1. How do you tell if you are in Trammel or Fellucia (last time i played uo you could click the moongate and decide where you end up) but i noticed I am being ported around to different cities and I was PKd in one (and im not sure if i was PKd in Fel as fair game or if i was in trammel and it was a person with Negative karma). Which sorta brings me to my next question....

2. Is the only way to go between Tram and Fel via a fel stone?

3. Is there a daily cap on stats gained per day or skills?

4. When it comes to pvp......Magic or Weapons?

Duul al'Vath : Thanks a lot for the info mate! Ok things are becoming very clear now! Loving this shard! I killed a few cows and managed to earn enough loot to buy a krys the world is my oyster!!!

Also, log into IRC and join #DG or #C^V and ask away with any questions you may have. There's usually someone in one of those channels who will help when they see the questions. Give them a bit to respond as people aren't always paying attention.
