Magic Lock on Wooden Boxes & other anti-theft devices

Post by Black&Blue »

Currently on this server, magic lock on a wooden box does not work. I believe this era allowed for casting magic lock onto little red wooden boxes, as I used them quite often way back then.

Using regeants as an example, if you have them in a bag inside of a locked container (by magic or by key) on your person, a theif can still steal them from you if he/she is stealing by target type ID, from your locked container. Is this era accurate? If it is, it makes absolutely no sense, if it isn't then please fix it.

It works on any lockable container. If the small red wooden box is created without the sufficient tinkering skill, then it will not be lockable, and won't be able to be locked using the "Magic Lock" spell.

Thank you Pirul for clarifying the first paragraph of my original post. I did not realize that it had to have been made with sufficient tinkering skill.
