UO Second Age

I played LS, don't think I was a high profile player at all.

1998-2000 or 2001.

Mostly played as a thief and factions mage. I played with Klagett, Tenchu, Noel, man so long ago I can't remember too many others.

I played on LS primarily as Kalen Airx, although i do not remember the exact dates. I know i stopped playing during T2A and have always wondered if my buddy was floating here on one of these shards, we used to meet up at the Just Inn, pretty much daily for drinks and BS'ing.. Are you here mayne?

Hehe, I remember some of you! To bad remembering names isn't my strong suit (hey i can't even remember what i called my own chars). Although I think my mage was called pantrax, or it might have been my fencer. My mage started pvp as a tankmage but with the changes to eval int and more he grew more and more towards pure mage. At one point i grew tired of grey'ing and just went red. One time there was this netsplit (I'm from Europe) so I died to a bear in the woods with WAAAAY to many ST/LT kills to wait it out - which is one of the reasons i left. Dying to a bear just made it all the worse

I joined LS (and uo) early 98 and played for a couple of years but left before the trammel/felluca thing (how long did they promise us necromancy btw!?), boy was I confused when i later reactivated my account. A friend of mine recommended the game and i joined them in Knights of the Round Table and stayed awhile just learning the game. At the time Tegan based in Yew was one of the servers only GM Mage and he had me making scrolls for his vendor.. Hey it payed for the regs i needed

Eventually i met up with Heat/ol'dirty and I think ragnar was his char aswell, can't remember exactly. He had a knack for being sneaky. And there was Sir Steve, very good friend and a canadian from what I can remember, he got some heat for that. It might explain why his house was out in a snow zone. He was the Good guy with morals. And the lady, i think it was jess/jessie/sara or something (sry for letting the house decay with all the work you had put in it:) ). Still those are just some of whom I remember, but spent a lot of time with. Mostly hanging around Yew. Have a lot of good (and fun) memories, one of the top must be the PK killer squad that visited my house near the Yew Gate while me and Heat was inside training mag. res. They were strong in numbers, but that was it

I played LS for about 6 years, and was lucky enough to start out before all of the Trammel/Felucca separation crap took all the fun away. Not really well known, though, I don't think. I was:

Willie Nelson (my first and only PK char)
Asterius (GM mage/necro)
Achilles (GM macer)
Rikus (GM smith)
Hewlitt (GM alchemist/dexxer)

I am seriously contemplating coming back. I miss the chaos of the game.

Was your "Achilles" actually named ACHILLES? (all caps) If so, I remember you

We were good, sometimes bad but mostly... god we had so much dam fun. However, my favorite memory is meeting a girl in game who lived about 30 mins from me, she ended up breaking up with her boyfriend who also played the game. Well we started dating (in real life fools) and I repeatedly killed her ex, in game. THAT was epic fun

I remember some of the names and guilds I saw in this post. Cheers to all!

Hey everyone! I recognize a lot of names in this thread.

I started playing 3 months before UO:R and played until a little bit after power scrolls were implemented. I was in a few different guilds but most notably EI.

I just started playing this server so I will see you guys around.

I played on LS...I was in a later version of guild [red]...I was in the R$K....i was gm of both the D*B and the OBD at times.....and I just recently started playing again....my Kent char has 130 long terms so he may be idle awhile...

I don't recall the exact dates but I played from 97'ish - 2003/2004 (don't recall exactly as I went to SB and DAoC).

I played most prominently:

Faramir - of DnK who I later retired into KoA, along with my friend RainStorm.
Darkknight - of [Red], as one of the original founding members, again along with RavenDS (aka RainStorm).

Just some notes for you guys that are into the history of it all etc.

- Column (real name: Seven Taran Sky) did pass away. It was reported in the Florida papers and posted in the obituaries.
- He did not go on to play DAoC, UO was his last game. Rel Por was a guild that was created by Stizuner, Niet, and a few others who we played with.

It was fun reading this thread and seeing so many old names. Blaine...always a pleasure.
