Basically you are say "na-ah!" then? I have actually been remotely motivated lately to go out and pvp, there is alot going on during my normal period of play, and it is pleasantly welcome. Just today there was a 3 hour bout, outside of destard with at least 20 people, that somehow transfered over to the mountains outside Despise. Onslaught and his large group have been super active, hell, I have even seen ACE in large numbers. I have not seen you yet for some reason, except at the occasional event of course, hmm, maybe your schedule has changed and we no longer play at the same time?
Also, do you realize that myself, populus, and maybe malice (I dont want to re-read and see if he commented), the people posting here that make up your TG/cA shard-killing griefer list, are actually only a small minority of the people voicing their displeasure with the events, and mentioning the increase in people actually playing lately?

The lack of field pvp has more to do with the shitty mechanics of this shard then anything. It has absolutely nothing to do with events. Fix the swing timer and people will come.
Why not just add a small chance of a silver drop on every mob in the game? That way all these people that suck at events can get their silver to. Problem solved, no more bad pvpers whining. This would get people into dungeons, and everyone can stop crying about having nobody to grief/gank.

Your displeasure with the events has nothing to do with your claim that it is hurting the server.

Surely you cant associated things like Onslaught being active again with the removal of events? Kind of reaching isnt it

Clearly I did not mention Onslaught as my sole determining factor when claiming that there are more people playing the game when I am online lately, but I think you already know that. There have been more people on during the times that I like to play, and yes, Onslaught and his posse of goons included.

also you are seeing a guidl called kws online lately too contributing to activity. They didnt join the server and finisher their chars because events were removed.
You cant associate this influx of new active players with the removal of events. They are completely unrelated.

During the time that I play, which is usually when the prime-time events start, there have been many more people out in the game-world playing.
I did not mention new players, old players, or literally mean specifics outside of example. It's simple to understand really. I'm not saying that removing events will bring more players to the server, nor am I saying that the opposite is true. You simply cannot say that events do not cause a giant "pause" in the game.

What happened to your beloved Divinity with the glorified pvp or 'game mechanics' that you have touted?
Someday the recluse might actually come outside of that little enclosed box and get a reality check.

This thread isn't about how bad Divinity is.
Leave your old hatreds in trash talk..

Managed events are shit. These little special zones where the game mechanics are strictly limited and you have to play by the rules are basically mini-trammels.
They don't have events where miners can go into some magical area where everybody has to follow mining event rules and things that would ruin a miner's day are simply disabled or blocked server side. If they ever did such a thing I am sure the whiny unskilled "pvpers" would cry bloody murder.

Lol regardless no matter how long or hard you guys bitch and moan they will never remove events and I would gamble a large sum that they will continue to allow them to take place in their automated state and trammel locations.
