I don't get why everyone is making such a big deal. cA is one of the only guilds I truly respect on this shard. They always find a way to outsmart someone in the game, which is a part of UO.

And they do not go around trash talking to everyone and making a big deal about it, they make very legit posts about it and they are done with it. It's the people that complain about it that don't let it end. You people need to just let this be and have respect for cA. Look at all they have accomplished, you can easily find the proof in their well written and constructed stories in tales of adventure.

They add a element to the shard that is truly unmatched more than I have ever seen. They bring sense of adventure to thievery, they are not just your common thieves.

So I mean you guys can go around and complain all you want but in the end you were just outsmarted and outwitted but someone that was just more clever than you at the time.

They are the definition of clever and true wit.

This is a role-playing game, and they win time and time again. Just learn from your mistakes and move on and enjoy the show. At least they have the audacity to show screenshots and stories literally showing you what you did wrong and how you could try and improve yourself.

UO is a never ending cycle so there will always be people that will be house looted and stolen from, this has never changed and never will.

No reason to be mad or make such a fuss, you were just outsmarted this time. Move on, learn your lesson, and play game.

If you wanna call that being outsmarted then I guess so. Mistake was trusting someone not to be an asshat and ruin the event for the whole shard ~shrug~

I ain't mad.

It was a public event that anyone could join to gain resist.

I'm a little confused. The story here involved no resist session. I just walked into a house, twice. The resist session I mentioned above, I did not show up pretending to be a part. I stealthed in a gate, stealthed in the tower, and took whatever was lying about.

I especially enjoy that another thief guild is upset that people are stealing.

Ok. I'm done posting here. Please take further complains to trash talk. People have developed an annoying habit of filling my threads with OMG U R THIEF U RUIN SHARD.

I agree, the only things posted in this thread should be how awesome the story is.

When you are in the business that he is in then these threads are most likely not always going to be "you sure are awesome". You get criticized because next time it could be them. When people learn to put themselves in others shoes then you begin to see the point.

Joshua is spot on in his last two posts. This is a great story and the server would be a far less interesting place without chumbucket and his associates. Sure maybe a resist session got screwed up, but lets face it a guild can cover the cost of a few thousand regs. However a group that writes up such amusing tales and provides entertainment for everyone on the shard is utterly priceless. I'd rather fund/macro my own resist than be denied further tales of adventure!

I would never be in their shoes because I take very simple precautions. And even if they did happen to pull something over me I wouldn't make a fuss about it, I would accept it and learn from my mistake. Not bash a respectable legit tale of adventure.

Not to keep kicking a dead horse but joshua...you did throw a fuss over felix getting that crystal ball by pking lazarith. While it isn't the exact same issue , it was the longest running "i was scammed" "i didn't scam" soap opera i have seen here. SO to some degree you are just the same as anyone else here that complained about the tale of adventure...except felix didn't take pictures and make a pretty story to soften it for the masses.

Not in the least Robot, you need to get your facts straight before your to quick to make assumptions. The whole felix/lazarith thing was about a IRC scam which is illegal.

Which , I repeat , IS ILLEGAL. You cannon use IRC or forums by any means to scam.

This however, is done ONLY in the game which is perfectly fair and legit.

Also just incase you didn't know... You are trying to compare a "scam" to this. So just letting you know in case you are not aware, that scamming is a part of ultima online.

Scamming/house looting/stealing/grieving <- All a part of ultima online.

So don't even begin to try and differentiate the two. They are completely separate issues. And if you got anymore problems take it to trash talk, I'm done with this thread.

Good story cA!!!
