I roll with Driz on my char meat, and sometimes solo with platypus-C
If ppl were serious bout getting together two nice big O/C guilds with pretty much mages only I'd put one of my chars in for sure..

So, I'm understanding that the common complaint here is that wrestling and resist need to be nerfed and also mini-heal? I know that I havee missed people literally about 8 times in a row. And yes, the tab thing is just broken, so your tellin me I can just hit tab aver and over and reduce if not prevent my opponent from hitting me? awesome.

I have not seen any legit complaints about what is inaccurate with PVP in this thread...

I have 0 trouble killing people, even pvpers. There are ways around attack last spam, there are ways to kill people even as strong as mini heal is...if you practice it enough you'll find out its not as hard as you think. There's a HUGE group of pvpers thatt i see nightly who all are about the same level of skill, and they complain about all the things that are wrong w/ the mechanics...but when i watch every single one of them fight i can point out about 50 mistakes they've made in the fight which could have been kills..learn how to properly use disrupts, learn how to properly use attack last instead of spamming it, learn how to use punch disrupt, learn how to time your combos, and learn how to time your swings and you'll see what im talking about.

If wrestling is nerfed, I will quit this shard immediately. For the entirety of UO, one thing we are absolutely positively certain about is the likelihood of hitting and being hit at a given level of weapon skill. To change how that works on this shard would make it no better than any other free shard, and substantially worse in many ways. The resist formula, too, is very well known to be correct.
"About 8". Let's call it 7 on the off chance your memory is making this out to be worse than it was. And let's say you only notice misses in a row (no one ever complains about 7 hits in a row). So we're saying given 1 miss, what's the odds of missing 6 more times in a row? The answer is 2 to the 6th power. So 2x2x2x2x2x2 = 64. So 1 out of every 64 times you miss, you will miss 6 more in a row (assuming you and your opponent have GM wrestling).
As for the attack last spam keeping an opponent from hitting you... my understanding is it only keeps people from taking advantage of the swing prep bug. I.E. if they have a hally armed the whole time, they'll swing once every 5 seconds or whatever. You cannot stop this. If they disarm, they can cast and wait for their wrestling timer to expire after 2+ seconds. When that happens, they can re-arm the hally, and the swing transforms from the punch to the hally, allowing you to effectively swing a halberd at over twice the speed intended by the game mechanics. It's a bug, to be sure, but you can get around it by using Attack Last, causing a player to waste their swing while still unarmed, and resetting their swing timer.

if somebody double clicks you in warmode (or hits attack last target) when they stand next to you to hit/wrestle, you will automatically hit/wrestle back. the wrestle refresh timer is linked to the weapon swing timer, in that if you've just wrestled somebody you will have to wait the full refresh timer before you can swing a weapon or wrestle again.
tab (toggle war/peace) will take you out of offensive mode with somebody who's flagged you, so if timed correctly you can avoid the auto wrestle/hit back. the refresh timer for wrestle is a lot shorter than most (if not all) weapon skills, meaning if you don't tab, the wrestle timer will refresh before your weapon skill timer causing you to wrestle over and over again, and so resetting your weapon skill refresh timer over and over again.
on a t2a server, where its nearly impossible to kill somebody without a weapon skill, its understandable why automatically wrestling somebody instead of swinging your weapon can be a problem, and this is why tabbing is important.
apologies if this is a completely confusing explanation. its a lot easier to see it in practice.

PvP rolecall, to do that there would have to be some PvP going on in the first place. PvP on this shard is for lack of a better word....pathetic.
Mage vs. Mage is an exercise in futility or whoever runs out of regs first. Mage vs. "fully equipped" dexer is a matter of attrition as to how many boom pouches can the guy have left before my para/explode combo can actually work this time...lame. Mage vs. dexer who isn't outfitted correctly is just plain sad...whiff, whiff, whiff, whiff, whiff, para/explode/e-bolt/hally whack, wash, rinse, repeat, wow that was exciting now you can loot that GM crap he's toting and possibly some recall regs.....hooray.
Duels, wow they can go on and on and on and on.....getting the picture here?
I guess the debate as far as accuracy could go on as long as some of the duels on this shard so I won't get into that.
Wrestling is uber here for some reason I don't think a dexer has actually landed a meaningful hit on my mage yet, even if he did I can just mini-heal until I can land a couple spells to knock his dex down enough so that the 2 second timer becomes very apparent to him, kite him a little so his timer just starts to reset while mine is ready and I arm hally then it's a matter of can he heal with bandages in time or is he going to run and make the fight last until the server goes down, thank goodness for GE potions.
PvP rolecall, well I guess we'll have to wait until some real PvP starts up here.

I don't know what your talking about I use to play Hybrid and the pvp is easy. This is a whole new experience for me because to a certain extent everyone has a weakness. If your a mage you have powerful spells that can knock a dexxer down even if they have gm resist and they have trouble healing, but a dexxer can own a mage if they have no lag and land more than half of their hits. I am starting to really like this shard every duel I have been in so far was completely different. There are just to many variables to try and break down the pvp like that here. I don't understand why people complain about the pvp so much here , I think it's a lot of fun. Who cares about all the mechanics of some dumb timer change or some stupid little flaw, change is inevitable so learn to adapt and quit complaining. I've had to reconstruct my whole pvp style because I switched over here from Hybrid and still trying to get use to it.

Wrong. Sometimes being a true dexxer requires much more skill than a mage if you use a ton of macros and gadgets. I am not talking about a dexxer who just attacks and runs around, I am talking about the clever never say die type of fighter that will use any means necessary to win.
