on a side note ... Sea Serpents don't appear to be auto Attacking the Fisherman that pulls them up

Still not seeing many Sea Serpents with my non GM fisherman ...

I just started fishing again, and it seemed a bit odd. Im not an expert UO fisherman, skill wise or experience wise (96.3 Fishing). And ive never fished up or completed an SOS in game. But ive fished for abut 3 hours and got one tmap, Found only one serpent(which i didnt even fish up), and decided to check forums about fishing. Is there an issue with fishing or not? Id hate to think i picked a poor time to do my fishing.
On a side note If anyone has any good fishing tips id appreciate it, send me a pm if you dont wanna make your tips public knowledge or clutter this forum post. Maybe ill make a post elsewhere asking for tips.

I don't believe they have done anything with the serpent spawn... and the gains after 96.0 are super slow (makes it very hard not to afk Fish, its so boring you can fall asleep at the wheel!!)Arcott Ramathorn wrote:I just started fishing again, and it seemed a bit odd. yes. skill gain past 96.0 is gruelingly slow.
There's a point where you WILL think fishing skill gain is broken for you. That means it's working
We all did that, and pushed forward. Those last few points will indeed come.

yeah and then the hour after i did that post i got .8 gains. the skill gain gods are evil sometimes
