Don't try to make me look like a fool... I know this, what I am saying is... you would have to tame ALOT OF great harts to GM, because you would succeed a ton. But with no Lore you fail at taming even though you should not. It's all %'s...
This would be a lot easier if a Admin or GM would just say yes or no.

Re: Animal taming
Roughly a year or so ago I got this confirmed by Derrick that Lore DOES NOT AND SHOULD NOT affect anything in regards to the actually taming of a creature. However once the creature is tamed with 0 lore it becomes very difficult to tell them to do anything.
I got the confirmation around 65-70 taming and 0 lore and then decided to gm lore and noticed absolutely no difference in gain times, however I could now tell my animals do to things

Well... I've noticed I fail a lot more when trying to tame things that usually take only 2-3 tames before... Everytime!

Funny, cause I had been farming Titans for about two weeks straight; I hit Illustrious about two days into it, stayed that way until I died 12 days later. When I rezzed, I was Glorious instead of Illustrious.platy wrote:While trying to GM my tamer I did lots of things and had results like that: First of all killing your char for some reason helps, as does taking a break, as does gaining a different skill- could just be a coincidence but I used these methods to GM lockpicking as well when I would get "stuck" at a certain level.
But if it works for you I definately wouldn't stop- goodluck man
Who knows. =/
